Top Nepali amateur golfer Sadbhav Acharya took a huge stride in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Sadbhav, who won the Surya Nepal NPGA Tour Championship on March 28 defeating professional golfer Bhuvan Nagarkoti by seven strokes, jumped 86 places up to 467th in the ranking.

Out of the last 25 events considered for Week 13, Sadbhav won three titles and made top 10 finishes in 17 tournaments. He played in four tournaments under the Surya Nepal Golf Tour this season. He won the season-opening Surya Nepal Central Open and Surya Nepal NPGA Tour Championship, whereas he finished second in the Surya Nepal Challenge and Surya Nepal Western Open.

Tashi Tsering is the next best Nepali golfer in world ranking. He moved 66 places up to 1534th position. Yuvaraj Bhujel is at the 2352nd position, while Wangchen Dhondup is at the 3776th place.

Two Nepali women golfers are listed in world ranking. Kashmira Shah is at 1267th position, while Sushma Sigdel is at the 2475th place.
