20 people were injured when a passenger bus coming from Dang to Kathmandu met with an accident at Bhaluhi, Devdah Municipality Ward No. 8 of Rupandehi. Two of the injured are in serious condition and five are in moderate condition.

Bus No. BA.PR.03-001 was overturned about 3/4 meters below the road around 12:00 last night. DSP Manohar Prasad Bhatt informed that out of 38 passengers on the bus, 20 people were injured.

The injured are being treated at Devdah Medical College. After receiving information about the accident, a team of 10 people led by police inspector Dr. Prasad Chaudhary and a team of 7 people led by police inspector Mahesh Pathak from the ward police office Butwal were deployed for rescue.

Bus driver Pyuthan Jhimruk Pradeep Pariyar has been detained by the police.
