National Independent Party Chairman Ravi Lamichhane has said that he does not want to open corruption cases.

Speaking at the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, he targeted Nepali Congress General Minister Bishwa Prakash Sharma and asked him to admit that he opened the files himself and committed corruption himself.

He said that he was only re-opening the corruption scandals that happened in 30 years. He accused the current government of trying to bury the burning file.

He said, ‘Just yesterday things were going on here, there were reports that we have opened the file, but you have not opened it. Well, you guys opened it, not the way we like it. It would have been better if we had told them that we did the scandals too.
