The International Cricket Council (ICC) has moved the ICC U-19 World Cup cricket tournament from Sri Lanka.

With the ICC suspending Sri Lankan cricket, the upcoming U-19 World Cup in February and February will now be held in South Africa. The ICC board meeting unanimously moved the World Cup from Sri Lanka to South Africa.

South Africa has previously hosted the U-19 Women’s World Cup 2023 and the U-19 World Cup 2020.

16 teams including Nepal are participating in this World Cup. Nepal is in Group ‘D’ in the World Cup. Along with Nepal, Pakistan, Afghanistan and New Zealand are in the group.
